The Disney Experience In Hollywood Studios

As all Disney fans know, Disney’s Hollywood Studios does not have a boat ride, something that every other park has. Boat rides are a way for guests to take a rest and stay shaded from the Florida sun with a whimsical Disney twist. With the somewhat recent closing of The Great Movie Ride, Hollywood Studies is starting to lose its main overarching theme and that is movies.

With the idea I have had for months now I feel like it could bring the movie charm back to Hollywood studios. Picture this, a ride that tells the history of Disney movies. From steamboat willie to some of the latest blockbuster hits like Frozen, Cocoa, and moana and with the recent technology of 2.5D, you could really make this ride special. Imagine all of the possibilities you could have in this ride. When you first enter the Steamboat Willie scene Imagineers could use lighting affects to make everything even yourself glow black and white referencing how Walt Disney’s first ever movies were black and white.

After the black and white scene you could move into the color era consisting of movies like Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and possibly pinocchio. These movies had a big effect for not only the Walt Disney company but also for animation in the future. as we go through this scene we can move into the construction of Disneyland and how that inspired the creation of Disney World. The narrator could tell us why Walt Disney wanted to make Disney world and give us a simple history of the park.

The last and final scene could be the future of animation and Disney films. This scene could show us what new animation technology is used in the new films. The point this ride would make is Disney is still thinking of education and how Disney is not just a entertainment park it is a education experience.

I think the most suitable name for this ride is, The Disney Experience or The Walt Disney Pictures Experience, something along the lines of that. This ride could bring Hollywood Studios back to its old self and rejuvenate past experiences and show the origins of early and modern Disney films.
